By accessing or using Konnecta (the "Service"), including the mobile application and website at konnecta.games, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

Konnecta is an AI-powered multiplayer party game application. The Service allows users to host and join interactive game sessions featuring AI-generated questions, multiple game modes, real-time scoring, and leaderboards. The host creates a game session through the mobile app, and players join via the mobile app or web browser.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. If you are under 18, you should use the Service under the supervision of a parent or guardian. Certain game modes (such as "Spicy Mode") contain adult content and are intended for users 18 years of age or older. The host is responsible for selecting age-appropriate content settings for their group.

You do not need to create a traditional account to use Konnecta. Players join game sessions using a display name and a game code. Display names should not contain offensive, hateful, or inappropriate language. Game sessions are temporary and may be removed after a period of inactivity. The host of a game session is responsible for the content settings and participants in their session.

When using the Service, you agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Submit offensive, hateful, threatening, or harassing content
• Attempt to manipulate game scores or exploit the scoring system
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service
• Use the Service to distribute spam, malware, or unsolicited content
• Impersonate another person or entity

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate game questions, answer options, and other content. AI-generated content is created dynamically and may occasionally produce unexpected, inaccurate, or inappropriate results despite our content filters. We continuously work to improve content quality and safety. The host can configure content rules and guardrails to control the type of content generated. We are not responsible for the accuracy of AI-generated trivia questions or factual claims made in game content.

Users may create custom question packs. By creating custom content, you represent that you have the right to use such content and that it does not violate any laws or third-party rights. We reserve the right to remove custom content that violates these terms. You retain ownership of custom content you create.

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Konnecta and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our express written permission. The Konnecta name, logo, and all related names, logos, and slogans are trademarks of Konnecta.

Certain features of the Service may require a paid subscription. Subscription terms, pricing, and billing cycles will be clearly displayed before purchase. Subscriptions purchased through the App Store or Google Play are subject to the respective platform's billing and refund policies. We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable notice.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of AI-generated content. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Konnecta shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claims arising under these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Konnecta and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
