Game responses and answers submitted during gameplay
Custom question packs you create

Game session data (scores, game modes selected, session duration)

Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
Enable real-time multiplayer game sessions
Generate AI-powered game content tailored to your selected vibe and occasion
Calculate and display scores, leaderboards, and game history

4. AI-Generated Content

Konnecta uses third-party AI services (such as OpenAI) to generate game questions and answer options. When generating content, we may send contextual information such as the selected game vibe, occasion type, and player names to the AI service. We do not send personal data beyond display names used in gameplay. AI-generated content is not stored permanently and is generated fresh for each game session.

5. Data Storage and Security

We use Google Firebase to store game session data, scores, leaderboards, and custom question packs. Data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. Game session data may be retained for leaderboard and history purposes. You may delete your game history and leaderboard data at any time from within the app.

6. Third-Party Services

Our Service uses the following third-party services:

Google Firebase — Real-time database, authentication, and cloud functions
OpenAI API — AI-powered question and content generation
Expo / React Native — Mobile application framework

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy governing the use of your information. We encourage you to review their policies.

7. Children's Privacy

Konnecta is designed for use in group settings and may be used by individuals of various ages depending on the selected vibe and content settings. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. The "Family Night" and "Kids Ministry" modes are designed with age-appropriate content filters. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, please contact us.

8. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share anonymized, aggregated data for analytics purposes. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Konnecta, our users, or others.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Delete your game history and leaderboard data from within the app
Request information about the data we hold about you
Request deletion of your data by contacting us
Opt out of analytics collection

10. Data Retention

Game session data is retained as long as you maintain active leaderboard or history records in the app. Custom question packs are retained until you delete them. You may clear all your data at any time through the Settings screen in the app.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
